WHERE WAS THE CLARINET INVENTED?
To find the origins of the clarinet, we have to go back quite a bit in time. To the Baroque period, to be precise; it was the time of the Chalumeau instrument. Johann Christoph Denner from Nuremberg made some improvements, and his "clarinet" was presented to the world in 1690. In the following centuries, the instrument was gradually perfected.

For beginners who are still not entirely sure if the clarinet is the right instrument for them, it is advisable not to invest immediately in the most expensive clarinet. There are many affordable clarinets available at a reasonable price. If, after a few years, they find that they enjoy the clarinet, they can always choose a nicer one later on.
WHAT TYPES OF CLARINETS ARE THERE?
The clarinet family is quite extensive, with some less common models or those especially popular within a certain genre. The most commonly used models are the sopranino (A flat, E flat, D), the clarinet (C, B flat, A), the bass clarinet (A), the corno di bassetto (F), the alto clarinet (A flat), the bass clarinet (B flat), the contralto clarinet (E flat), and the contrabass clarinet (B flat). The standard B flat clarinet is the most common.
